1965

Mustafa Kemal Oz started exporting Sultanas using contractors.

1967

Oz Family established its first factory in Izmir city center, Çamdibi.

1982

Oz Export became one of the first companies in the sector to build a factory closer to growing areas.

1983

Product range extended to include Apricots and Hazelnuts.

1990

Napier Brown Holdings from the UK approached Oz Export to buy the family business. Instead a Joint-Venture – Anatolia was founded. A purpose build factory was constructed which pioneered the use of laser technology in sultana processing.

1997

The Kemalpaşa factory expanded with an additional building, followed by an investment in affluent water treatment system, which was one of the first in the sector.

2003

The company was awarded with BRC and IFS, consequently started serving more retailers globally including the ones in United Kingdom, mainland Europe and Australia.

2012

Investment in new “Retort line” to pack soft organic dried fruits with zero additives.

2017

Anatolia announced the acquisition of Whitworths Limited UK to form one of Europe’s largest dried fruit, nuts and seeds businesses.

2018

A new warehouse and sultana processing factory was built much closer to the growing area in Ahmetli, Manisa.

2019

Anatolia invested in solar panels in Ahmetli plant with a view of producing 100% of its energy from renewable sources for a more sustainable future.
